# Earn ONO playing Dota 2

ONO can be earned by playing Dota 2 through the rewards app at [dota2.ono.gg](https://dota2.ono.gg).

## How it works

1. **Sign in** at [dota2.ono.gg](https://dota2.ono.gg) with your Google or Steam account.
2. **Link your Steam account** so the service can track your Dota 2 matches.
3. **Play Dota 2.** The service watches your finished matches automatically — there is nothing to submit manually.
4. **Win matches, earn ONO.** Rewards are credited to your account balance in the app as your winning matches are detected.
5. **Withdraw** your earned ONO to your own wallet address (see [Create a wallet](/ono/guides/create-a-wallet.md)). Withdrawals are real on-chain transactions and are confirmed once enough blocks have passed.

## Notes

* Each match is counted exactly once — a match cannot be rewarded twice.
* Match results can take a little while to be detected after the game ends; the app notifies you when a reward lands.
